SAMTRAC, the world's leading course in occupational risk management in the workplace, has recently been converted into an interactive online training course called SAMTRAC International. This allows students to complete their SAMTRAC training in their own time without needing to attend the class.

SAMTRAC International is an internationally recognised HSE e-learning training course. The course allows organisations to set one standard of training across their operations as it incorporates the students local legislation and it is currently available in multiple languages, namely English, French, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

Management is thus assured that their employees across their operations are equipped with the fundamental knowledge critical to HSE management.

E-learning Courses

SAMTRAC International

SAMTRAC International is a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management e-learning training course. The course has been developed to cover the integration of HSE management with a focus on guiding students through the practical process of implementing and maintaining an HSE management system using the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle.

The course focuses on eight core modules, each of which are important when managing risk. The modules include: 

    Module 1: Foundations to HSE
    Module 2: Legal
    Module 3: Safety
    Module 4: Health
    Module 5: Environment
    Module 6: Risk Management
    Module 7: Management Systems (Part A)
    Module 8: Management Systems (Part B)

SAMTRAC International is a risk based course therefore learners will be exposed to the fundamentals of risk and conducting a risk assessment. Learners will be able to identify risks and conduct a comprehensive risk assessment in different situations across different industries

SAMTRAC International for Mining

SAMTRAC International is a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management e-learning training course. The course has been developed to cover the integration of HSE management with a focus on guiding students through the practical process of implementing and maintaining an HSE management system using the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle.

The course focuses on 7 core modules, each of which are important when managing risk in the mining industry. The modules include: 

    Module 1: Foundations to HSE
    Module 2: Legal
    Module 3: Safety
    Module 4: Health
    Module 5: Environment
    Module 6: Risk Management
    Module 7: Management Systems 

The Foundations module introduces learners to the mining life cycle, with a focus on some of the more common types of mining, whilst the Legal module incorporates International Labour Organisation standards, which are complimented by the Regulatory Digest covering country specific HSE legislation through a partnership with Enhesa. The remaining modules place specific emphasis on hazard identification and risk mitigation in the mining industry, along with introducing students to the key concepts of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001.

SAMTRAC International Modular

SAMTRAC International has launched an exciting new dimension to our product offering. Students are now able to complete the course on a modular basis. They can therefore choose to study specific modules rather than completing the entire course or complete the course by doing one module at a time.

Modules incude:

    Module 2: Legal
    Module 3: Safety
    Module 4: Health
    Module 5: Environment
    Module 6: Risk Management
    Module 7: Management Systems (Part A)
    Module 8: Management Systems (Part B)

Once learners have registered and paid for the module/s they intend to complete, they will receive their login details. This will allow them online access to our e-learning platform. Learners have one month to complete a module. If a learner decides that after completing some of the modules they would, in fact, like to complete the full SAMTRAC International course, they can do so.
